I primarily work on Peer Review Text Analysis to determine significance of peer reviews. Specifically, I am studying: Can we identify new knowledge from texts? How can we identify relevant and quality literature from the academic clutter? Can we predict with reasonable certainty if a given article falls within the scope of a journal? How can we have an AI as an assistant to the editors and reviewers to fix certain challenges in the current peer review system? Can we comment on the quality of peer reviews leveraging NLP, ML, IR? How can citation contexts aid us to identify the quality of research?
